I’ve been teaching private lessons since 1987. I am passionate about music; it brings me joy to be able to share this passion with my students. From their first lesson, my students learn important foundational techniques to develop their skills and self-confidence. Each student has a unique learning style, so I utilize a wide variety of teaching strategies to help each one flourish. I'd love to partner with you in your musical journey!
Lessons

and understands how to inspire others. My teaching style focuses on skills training, but also emphasizes a variety of repertoire and discovering a passion for something new.
Learning how to use practice time efficiently and enjoyably is essential! Every practice session needs to be like a balanced meal. While we can savor our meat and veggies, we all need a little dessert once in a while! Play what you love and it will bring you joy for your entire life.
